About Alexandra Cabrero

As a Cultural Anthropologist and photographer my passion in life is to capture this wonderful world we live in and its beautiful people and cultures.

Experiencing different cultures is my passion. Who is surrounding me? What makes every country and its people unique? What makes this moment in time special? These are some of the questions I ask myself when I’m photographing people, landscapes, architecture and objects in order to be able to capture the soul of every country I am visiting.

Combining my background as an Anthropologist with photography has created the perfect avenue to capture special moments in time and share them with as many people as possible, giving them an opportunity to see the similarities and differences which makes us all unique and interesting.

It is said “a picture is worth a thousand words”, and it is completely true. Even that which can look as the most mundane scene can tell you a story, evoke different feelings and, ultimately, help you understand the world we live in and its people.

Capturing an image, pressing pause on life for a millisecond, is a way to preserve a moment in time that can last for centuries to come. Sharing these is an opportunity for everyone to observe culture without the need of a passport.

I invite you to ‘See the world through my lens’.
