Two years of change, and still evolving. During the beginning of 2020, a day arrived when every person, in every country, woke up to the news about a virus that was quickly spreading around the globe. Soon after, lockdowns, masks, disinfection, deaths (and oh how many around the world), social distancing, empty streets and friends and family from afar became a new “normal”.

Nine months later a breakthrough, a vaccine was developed and distributed to try to stop the spread of Covid-19. Then came street signs and tents around different parts of the United States, and other countries, to urge vaccination.

The world is still in the midst of the pandemic, and its end is in the hands of the people, and their willingness to get vaccinated. We are a generation that has lived through an unprecedented time, one which will soon go into the history books. Hopefully we have learned from it and other generations will be spared from a similar disaster in the future.

These photos show the evolving nature of this tumultuous time in Central Florida.
